Wednesday 16 February

After further consultation with my teacher and some other teachers I have discovered that I can in fact do my original intentions of a practical based research project rather than focusing on answering the question of "what is society's reaction to public fundraising". My topic now is simply "Public Fundraising" which I will be researching physically by fundraising, finding the most effective way.

I prefer my research project to be in this format as it is what I originally intended, and the research outcome should be more concice.

My original plan was to hire a bear suit (or three, depending on if more people involved will result in more effective fundraising) and go to the city (or another well populated area which will result in the most effective fundraising) and actually physically fundriase. To do this, I will need to: research into what charity I will fundraise for, and which will actually allow me to fundraise; what I need to do to be able to fundraise for the charity; where is the best place to fundraise; contact charities; and contact costume stores for hiring of the suits. This will still allow me to have appropriate research and it is still to do with something that I am unfamiliar with, as I have never done any sort of fundraising other than participation in others' fundraising.

I have now completed my research proposal, which I have written directly on to my wikispace. I have also kept a backup on my dropbox in order to prevent vandalism of it.
