This week I have had discussions with costume dealers and have agreed to trial a suit for tomorrow's Sports Day (March 2) for which I am being mascot. I have gotten consent from the owner for me to use their name and store name in my end result. Tomorrow's test run is mainly for testing size of the suit and what I can actually do in the suit.
We have also been told that the discussions will be taking place very soon so must prepare our answers. Mr Tengdahl has put on his wikispace the sheet explaining the discussions so we can be prepared.

After the trial run of the bear suit from a certain dealer on Wednesday I have found out a few things about the suit that I rented. Firstly, I found out that the suit was much different than what I was described. The suit I was described was what I wanted - a cartoonish looking suit as pictured below:

However, the one I was given was much different. Below is a picture of me in the suit:
As you can see, the suit was not as I invisions. It was in fact a much scarier, more realistic looking bear. This would not be appropriate for my plans later on. Because of this, I have learned to ask the store or actually see the suit before I hire it. However, the suit was given to me very cheap ($20 for a week) so there were positives. Other positives of the suit were the fact that I could run in the suit (you can see that my shoes are showing through the bottom), however I am sure that I will not need to run in the suit on the day.
To reiterate, I was not happy with the suit. For my end result, I would much prefer to have a more cartoonish looking suit. Without a hard face!
